Karl makes a green statement at his last fashion show

Mr. Karl Lagerfeld has lined up wind turbines -which he loves for their “beautiful modern architecture”- for his show at the last Paris Fashion week, and had the models striding down a solar panels tiled runway.
“Energy is the most important thing in life,” he told reporters afterwards.
Although it could look as a mere matter of stage design, in my opinion this is something that not only would have never happen ten years ago -especially since the modern windmills have often been loathed for their impact on the natural landascape and thus have always been regarded as horrible- but that also gives some justice to these white giants. Their height compared to the proportion of the models managed to give the "grande" effect, while the clean white shapes were creating a pleasant contrast with the Grand Palais' glass and iron sorrounding structure.
Well done K.

OAT Shoes has arrived in Aarhus....

....and I'm the lucky owner.

Hi, I'm Marianne (30 years old) - I live in Aarhus (Denmark) where I work as a production manager at a film production company. Right now I'm on maternity leave so I have plenty of time to walk the streets of Aarhus in my new awesome OAT Shoes.

I spend a lot of my time during the summer in our little garden-house (kolonihave in danish), and this is the place where my OAT plant will grow when the time comes.

Timing

This year's summer has all the ingredients to become the coldest and wettest in years...But as long as the timing's right, I won't complain. Interestingly, even with a decent 24 degrees Celsius, Elbow had the power to give the crowd goosebumps.
